Not the typical Hilton standards

The staff were friendly, that is where the positive things end. The bathroom counter top was cracked and repaired with what look like liquid nail, the shower pan on the outside of the shower was dirty looking, the conditioner was completely out in the shower, the shower pan was slippery, there was mold in the shower tile, the reading light either did not work completely or flickered so bad I almost had a seizure. Should I go on? Don't even get me started with restaurant's food, bland, over cooked, and just terrible. Dennys down the street had better food and cost a 10th of what I paid. This is not the typical Hilton hotel standards that I expected especially with the price I paid per night. Not impressed at all. Definitely not worth a 4 star rating.

Its a clean hotel and very convenient for people looking to explore San Diego since ubers to and from downtown are affordable and fast from there. The only thing is that those walls are thinnn. You can hear what is going on in the top rooms and side rooms. Other than that it's a family hotel so its very safe.

Overwhelming smell of paint in room. Was moved to another room that then had a moldy smell to it. I asked for a refund and was told no because I prepaid for the room. Not even sure how that’s possible because I didn’t actually pay for anything until I showed up at the hotel.

We were 3 adults in a suite as honors members. Sofa bed very uncomfortable, extra linens/pillows/blankets were not present, but did show up as requested. Both bathroom door locks were broken. Bathroom mirrors were separating from backing. Bathroom faucet loose. No in room bottled water. No work area as TV took up all the desk space.
