For the most part this hotel is not bad but Hilton has an overall problem in general. They charge for every extra amenity they offer. From the $3 bottled water in the rooms to a breakfast that is expensive, really really limited and just disappointing. I can stay at a Fairfield Inn (Marriott International) for the same price, the hotels are usually nicer, have more free to lower priced amenities and a breakfast that is outstanding and comes with the stay. We recently stayed at an Embassy Suite which is also owned by Hilton and it was horrible (major maintenance issues). Frankly, in my humble opinion, Hilton truly needs to wake up, step up their game and put more focus into their customers and property needs.

The people at the front desk are always so rude - like we’re bothering them when we get there. Info provided was wrong about their own property. And the ceiling was falling part In the breakfast room we had for our group - embarrassing. Not going to stay here moving forward. This property has been on the decline over the years. I’ve been coming for 7 years for an event and it was just terrible this last time.

Super friendly and helpful staff. Hotel bar and food service is cool. You can hear people talking and walking/ running though the walls but not a deal breaker. Modern looking, huge shower for more than one. 😉 Great experience. Would stay here again if in the area.

I recently stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn San Diego - Rancho Bernardo and had a great experience overall. The hotel lobby and property are beautiful, with a welcoming atmosphere that makes a great first impression. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, offering a comfortable stay. That said, I did experience a couple of minor inconveniences. The room temperature was a bit tricky to regulate, and the bathroom door wouldn’t stay open on its own due to building code restrictions—not a huge issue, but worth noting. The biggest surprise was the $15 per day parking fee, which wasn’t clearly highlighted when I booked through a third-party app. While I was glad there wasn’t a resort fee, I would have appreciated clearer disclosure about the parking cost upfront. Despite these small drawbacks, the stay was enjoyable, and I would still recommend this hotel for its overall cleanliness, comfort, and beautiful property.

During times / weekends when there are an abundant of sports teams in the facility there needs to be some restraint on kids running around after 10:00 PM this was a problem during each night of my stay. Being an ex-hockey parent we had a 10:00 curfew for the kids so this did not become a problem. banging on the doors and calling rooms by the little hoodlums was not enjoyable. Mix feeling
