Nice Hotel Close to Old Town
Very nice hotel with small resturaunt and bar with a mini convenience store which was a very nice plus. Also had a nice small outdoor pool and hot tub.

Our stay overall was very nice. Staff was very friendly at check in. Hotel is vey clean and accessible to freeways, shopping and the beaches. Our one complaint is, that with our stay of 3 nights we never could get house keeping to clean our room or bring us clean towels. I inquired at the front desk Sunday morning for house keeping to do our room before leaving for the day. When we returned at 10:30 that night our room was exactly as we left it with a pile of dirty towels and pool towels on the bathroom floor. At that time of night I was done and wasn't going to deal with it.

Very nice hotel, with a super comfy bed. Right across from Old Town so there is ton of dinner options & shopping but be warned, not much else. For that reason I wish there was free breakfast. There is a restaurant on property though, but after paying for parking (a SD norm) they should give you something. (I highly recommend The Living Room Cafe, especially if you're taking the Trolly - just a few feet up San Diego Ave from the first stop & great breakfast!) Overall though this is a great place to stay if you don't want to be in downtown!

The Hilton Garden is a perfect Hotel to stay at Old Town San Diego! Less than 3-minute walk to Old Town! A very safe walk in the morning and/or night. I will definitely, stay there again. Thank you, Mary Alice
