Very cool hotel and the rooms are laid out in a unique, but great plan. Mini bar was large. Room coffee was kinda crap and only Starbucks available on property. The pool area was exceptional, and although it was late December, so we didn't use it, it's definitely something that would be a draw in the right seasons.

An okay stay. The check-in process was welcoming and exciting. Suite was okay. Balcony is definitely a PLUS! Great views of Gaslamp; very convenient as there's numerous surrounding restaurants and bars and Seaport Village. Our suite was a bit dated; but clean. Rainwaterfall showerhead was awesome, but shower was leaking and you could see the paint peeling in other room from it.Fitness room dated. great rooftop pool and outdoor bar, but bar not open and pool not heated. Hot tub not very hot either.

Pros: Great location (Gaslamp district). Great sized rooms. Staff helpful and friendly. Lots of great restaurants/bars attached as well as onsite Starbucks. Lots of cool Rock memorabilia, valet parking convenient. Cons: beds not very supportive/comfortable. Glass doors on separate bathroom and shower (more so for the shower), shower had no handheld shower head for rinsing off, water went everywhere, because of glass from toilet area to the bed area… if someone was using the toilet area while someone was sleeping in the bed area… the light was irritating.

Requested from Concierge two (2) extra blankets and they arrived approx. 20 minutes after the call. It took four (4) to five (5) times to get the coffee machine to work. Had to plug and unplug three (3) to four (4) times, too, to get the 1st cup brewing.
