Room was clean and hotel seems well maintained. TV resolution was disappointing, (not even HD). Location was okay as it is close and centrally located to all SD attractions. But the area around the hotel seems sketchy and not good for walking around - hotel is in industrial area, ongoing construction, and homeless people.

This clean and cozy hotel was in the perfect location for us - close to our family, Mission Bay, and Balboa Park. The surrounding area wasn’t upscale, but the hotel was incredibly clean and well-kept. The rooms were spacious, and despite being in the midst of renovations which kept them from offering a breakfast buffet, the gave us a nice bag of breakfast goodies every morning with hot coffee, water and juice. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly and helpful. Truly a pleasant stay!

Property was very clean and quiet, good workout facilities and front office was very nice. The room was very clean, however, there was enough room for a table and chairs (like a small dining table) which wasn’t there, the floor was bare flooring- no rugs, and there could’ve been at least one other club chair in the room to put stuff on. Quite literally the only place to put stuff (like a suitcase) was on the bed. Also, the hotel advertised a “hot buffet breakfast”, but when we arrived we were told the breakfast room was under construction and breakfast was a “grab & go” bag with an orange, orange juice, egg muffin sandwich and protein bar. Everything else was fine.

Good little spot for the affordability, rooms are very nice, new and clean. Yes, the area is not the most appealing, it is industrial looking with some interesting things going on, but overall I felt safe at the property. There are some conveniences around regarding food and coffee. The way I see it, I’m not sleeping outside, I’m sleeping inside a very clean, safe and comfortable room. So overall very good experience.

The staff who checked me in and checked me out were very professional, polite, and quick about getting me my room. All the staff I interacted with while coming and going from my room were very kind and welcoming. Overall, the team that keeps the property clean and welcoming are doing an amazing job.

Very nice and clean!

Room was updated and very clean. Vanity was outside of the toilet/bathtub which I am not a fan of but it was nicely updated. Staff were all great! Good breakfast provided. Felt very safe there. Would stay there again.
