Parents looking for a hotel near San Diego State? DO NOT STAY HERE! It was terrible. There was a guy living out of his car in the parking lot, and he and his friend were swimming/bathing in the pool. There were people yelling all night outside and inside the rooms. There was a man removing all the tires from his car in the parking garage. The rooms were dirty--the photos here are NOT accurate. Breakfast was terrible and there were people strung out on drugs taking all the cereal. It is close to nothing except another run-down motel and very sketchy looking restaurant. We felt so unsafe that we left a day early. My family could not wait to get as far away from that place as possible.

The restaurant Dell‘s hideout was good and close. Surprise, we had to pay extra for parking No supplies in kitchen not even paper towels The check in staff was very helpful

The restroom was clean but the shower drain stunk. I booked this room for the full kitchen but the fridge/freezer didn't work. But the room was decent.

Although this Days Inn seem to be in an okay neighborhood, the complex was a bit rundown. Bathtub was a bit grimy and this place doesn't offer daily housekeeping. I asked via text to get housekeeping for one day and it was ignored. Breakfast is underwhelming ... only good thing is the waffle maker. Gym was unusable as the treadmills wouldn't turn on. Had to get a key from the front desk to operate which was a hassle and the gym closed early at 9pm. Encountered multiple other hotel guests that seem a bit "suspect" to me. Probably won't stay here again if I visit San Diego. Location is okay though for hooking on to the freeways.

We have stayed here numerous times. The office staff is horrible but don’t have much contact with them. Like the room size and full size refrigerator, however, this stay was extremely trying. Our first night I wake up to water running just before 1am. Water is pouring out of the fan in the bathroom, I have a video, so I call to the office to be told there is nobody on that can help. I asked for a mop to at least mop up the huge amount of water as I was afraid my 75 year old husband would slip in the water and break a hip or something was told she did not have a mop so I asked for more towels as we used ours trying to clean up the mess and was told she couldn’t leave the office. I sent my son down for towels to try to mop up the rest. When I called back the next morning I requested more towels for showers and they said they would send maintenance up and I was told it was coming from the room above us and they would look into it. This hotel doesn’t have regular housekeeping unless requested and even if requested you more than likely will not get it. So we now had all these wet towels under the sink in the bathroom, this was Thursday. On Saturday which was our last night, I asked my daughter to go down and get some clean towels for me, Lena in the office was extremely rude saying we are limited as to how many towels we can have, due to the disaster we had that we had to clean ourselves she did end up bringing more towels. What a horrible experience, won’t be returning!

We had a great stay here. The breakfast was just enough, though no meat was served it was more than enough. We loved the dining area near the kitchen with the stove and refrigerator. It was clean and located in a safe area where homes were occupied. We will always come back here when visiting California.

Family stay

The location was good but unfortunately our room was dirty. The shower wasn’t properly cleaned and the kitchen area had trash like it wasn’t swept or mopped. The room its self was spacious and had a full fridge which was great for me since I had my baby with me I didn’t worry about keeping our milk supply cold. The pool area was clean.
