This was our third stay here in past few years. Recent lobby renovations are almost complete and a nice upgrade. Our ;arge marina view room had only half a view due to an adjoining wall that blocked much of the view, but you can go out on the balcony and look around it. Should be priced lower than the full view rooms! Hot water was out one morning, but fixed soon. Love the setting, easy walking around Shelter Island, tranquil grounds. Overall a good choice for being out of the busy San Diego areas, but near anything you want to visit. Staff very friendly and helpful too!

The view at this property is amazing and it alone is worth packing your bags and making your way there. Getting a rideshare was always quick and easy. Only complaint is cell service/Wi-Fi was spotty. But hey, you'll be on vacation. Enjoy the sights and live it up at this gorgeous place. One miss with the staff where they didn't call for one of the taxis promised. But all else was great.

This was a great personal touch hotel. They no longer serve coffee in the morning and the prices if kitchen are higher now. Great staff but owner has made changes that have taken away the enchantment of the hotel. Ive have stayed they over two dozen times I will now think twice before J make reservation.

Very nice hotel

We love the Bay Club. We stayed two nights. The room was a good sized, not cramped. There were three chairs, one at a desk and two at a small table. There was a large patio too! One major complaint: I had only lukewarm showers and my daughter had a freezing cold shower!
