Beach Life

It was in a tight spot in a small beach city. Parking was tight, but enough. Food was within walking distance, room was clean and the bed was comfy. We got the two queen bed room. No pool or bit tub and I didn’t see any tea or coffee in the morning. Dude at the front desk was cool, and gave us recommendations for places to eat. Over a good one night stay.

I liked the property online but arrived and the pool was closed and very green with black alge we decided to book another hotel and cancel the reservation. Staff was friendly and understanding. But for the asking price it should have been much better.

Decent hotel in good area

Hotel was in a good part of town and the staff was good. The pool was closed because they couldn’t get it maintained. Rooms are decent size but needed some repair and upgrading.

Loved how close the hotel location was to restaurants, shopping, coffee shops. We walked to the beach and took us about 15min which wasn’t too bad if you’re trying to save time on looking for parking. The hotel was okay, our room was not modernized at all. It looked old, and beds were not the best nor the comfiest. We got to enjoy the pool and jacuzzi, was clean and a nice outside area. Parking was convenient, right by the lobby if you found one on the 1st level. Overall, our stay was good, but hotel can use some work in the rooms.

This place was average to below average. We had a family get together and I truly wished I had stayed at the Holiday Inn that was cheaper, cleaner, and better kept only minutes away. For some reason the description led me to believe it had charm. Absolutely not. And the walls were the most paper thin of any place I believe I have ever stayed. Only way I would return is if I needed a place to stay with my dog, which they accept.

Had high hopes for this property. The floor felt nasty in our room. Windows didn’t work & paint all over actual windows. Holes in walls everywhere. And the pool was closed.

We stayed 5 nights at the Volare and it was great! We could walk to a number of dining places and lots of cute shops too! Conveniently located by the freeway, and surprisingly the room was very quiet. Location is very close to the beach. Free coffee and cookies each day in the lobby. The parking was also free and underground for extra convenience. The only downside was the pool and spa were sadly not available and that was one of the reasons we booked this hotel. Overall we had a great experience here and will definitely stay again.
