The property is simple but each room is well equipped with good quality finishes. It is clear the management takes much pride. The location is great, steps away from the Riverwalk itself.

Did not like the hotel at all. The ceiling fans had dust hanging from them, Broken towel rack towels were spotted. The website described catfish me into selecting this hotel. The staff were not helpful except for DALY she was kind the others did not know any information as if they were never trained. The website said free drinks there was no place for free drinks, you had to go somewhere else and also it said free breakfast, which you had to go somewhere at where else it wasn’t in the hotel the most important thing was the misleading information about the parking $15 self parking but they didn’t say it was a blocked down in a garage and it was no In-N-Out privileges it was the most horrible experience and will never stay there again . I have been to San Antonio many many times throughout the years and we wanted to pick something different and that was a mistake. I will file complaint to see if any compensation can be refunded to my credit card. I had a horrible stay at the Maverick. Overall the property was a great location. The AC was not working unfortunately and the noise from the streets was terribly loud at night. It was extremely hard to sleep. We Valeted our vehicle the first night and unfortunately we got a ticket because it wasn’t parked properly fast enough. The hotel valet covered our valet cost and we in turn paid for our parking ticket. It’s a great location but the noise is a deal killer for me. 😔

I loved how the staff were helpful even when i needed help with something i didn't understand. Comfortable bed, nice surroundings, wasnt dirty anywhere, the room had everything i needed incase i needed. The area was rlly chill and peacefull, not to the point where you'd have to cancel the booking and find a different hotel. Loved everything's about it i didnt eat any breakfast here just due to me bringing my own food and drinks. Overall (my opinion) 10/10!!

Location comes with a price…noise! Amazing property if you’re a night owl. From clacking of horses’ hooves, to the base of blaring music of people driving around the block just to be heard, people shouting at all hours of the night. This is no reflection of this hotel because any hotel in the area would also have the same issues. Hotel is clean, beautifully decorated, friendly staff and very comfortable. Highly recommended if sleeping isn’t an issue for you. Amazing location!!

The hotel doest not provide breakfast. They give you breakfast vouchers to the cafe that doesn’t have enough food andcrefuses to seeve the breakfast. When spoken to the hotel manager, the answers were rude and we weee told that we just have ho and eat elsewhere. No monetary compensation waa provided. The stiff was simply amused by our situation and kept saying that it wasn't their problem

The property photos are very misleading. The room was tiny. No restaurant onsite. You get a breakfast voucher to go around the corner for a coffee and taco. Very disappointed.

Cute hotel but noisy street
The hotel was nice, the staff was excellent! The problem is that it is an old building with single pane windows on a very busy street. All the noise outside sounded like it was in my room. Very difficult to get any rest.

There are no VIP amenities- parking is 42 per night but - you car is garaged privately so there is the safety factor There is no on site restaurant BUT everything on the Riverwalk is walkable - my package specifies “breakfast” but that was not accurate
