When for the final four. Great location, spacious room, well stocked mini bar. Bed was comfortable but there was no duvet cover for the comforter. The comforter was wedged between two sheets so that it unravel while we slept and we’d wake up with the comforter against our skin. This made us feel icky thinking about how many other people slept with the same infrequently unwashed comforter. Bathroom is small and water pressure could be better. All in all it was a good value and a a decent hotel. I’d rate it three stars and not four. Not bad, not great.

Disappointing begining.

Check in was my only trouble. I planned to check in freshen up before my outing. Check in states 4pm. I arrived at 5 and my room was not ready. Waited in lobby for over a hour. I asked if there were any other options, I offered to take a downgrade on my room. Nothing was offered. My family and I had to get ready in the general restroom and leave our luggage with front desk to leave for our venue. I noticed there were multiple bags behind the counter which I assume the same thing happened to other guests. Beds are full size not queen and even though ac is on room was still warm. Positives, this hotel is on the riverwalk, bar and restaurant open late, staff is great and hotel is clean and beautiful. Lots of areas one can sit and lounge in.

The downtown location is conveniently on the Riverwalk and a few blocks from the Alamo--also central to other neighborhoods. The staff is top notc--from Miracle at the front desk to Roza who took care of our rooms--very clean hotel with friendly and professional staff!
