Beautiful hotel. Super clean. Breakfast was delicious. The pool was warm in January which was nice. We appreciated the safety measures including key access only to the elevators. Every single staff member greeted us or spoke kindly. We will be back. It was great being steps away from the Riverwalk.

This is as the best we found when we walked the Riverside Hotels. It was so friendly and bedroom was sooo comfortable. We were welcomed early and nothing was too much trouble. However you pay for what you get and it’s worth it! Highly recommended

Staff was great from the start. Heated pool and hot tub big win with the kid! Conveniently located. Unfortunately an older building with mildew in shower, Luke warm water any time of day we tried, and slow draining tub/shower.

The hotel in itself is quite nice, has a nice lobby, restaurant, and bar. Room service was good, asked for a meal to the pool area, they brought it fast. Rooms are big, clean, and modern, except for the bathroom which doesnt look as new but still good nonetheless. Walkable, convenient, close to city center. I'd stay here again, specially for the hot jacuzzi upstairs.

Great location
The location is ideal for exploring the Riverwalk and downtown. The hotel is lovely, rooms comfortable and food and service were both great. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that the bar closes very early, without warning or set times and even to hotel guests. It closed between 9-10pm each night. We were staying for New Year’s Eve and were told the bar would stay open until 1am for the occasion but when we returned to the hotel to get a drink to toast the new year the bar had already closed.

It was a nice hotel to stay at and a perfect location. The hot tub/pool was great. I would stay there again. But you can tell it is an older property, and lacked customer service at the front office. The breakfast and Dinner in the Ambler restaurant was really good, customer service an excellent in that area.

Just an okay getaway
The cleanliness was lacking. The bathroom mirror had toothpaste splatter all over it that I cleaned off. The shower was broken and didn’t drain well. Continually had to ask for more towels because the housekeepers would only leave two for two people. We were not made aware of the amenities such as room service until I called to ask if there was room service available. The hostess at the restaurant was so confused as far as where to seat people (restaurant or bar) and what type of service was available at each spot and then say us in the restaurant and came back in and said we couldn’t order from the happy hour menu because that was only available at the bar. But we couldn’t sit in the bar area because there weren’t any servers for the bar. Seemed extremely unorganized.
