Our view of the river walk from our room was beautiful. Staff were very helpful. The first room we were in had a cable connection issue so they moved us promptly. We enjoyed our stay. The line for waffles could get long during peak breakfast time but worth the wait. Nice that breakfast was included so we could all have full stomachs before heading out the door. Burger place at the corner was delicious!

Got there and there was NO water. After walking around the riverwalk for hours you need a shower. Well there was no water at all. It was between like 4 and 630pm. Turn the water off at 2am next time if you have to.

The smell when walking in was very pungent and unpleasant. Front desk clerks were okay. Building is in good location. Needed to leave one day early due to an urgent matter and the manager did not want to give me a refund. There was a leak in the breakfast food area that was surprising to say the least. 2/10 stay.

I WAS REFUSED A PLACE TO STAY DUE TO MY METHOD OF PAYMENT BEING CHIME. HAVE STAYED AT A HILTON/HAMPTON PREVIOUSLY AND HAD NO ISSUES AT ALL. NOW ALL OF A SUDDEN AT CHECK IN TIME, I WAS TOLD I COULDN'T STAY THERE BECAUSE I HAD A VISA DEBIT CARD WITH CHIME BANK. MY ONLY OTHER METHOD OF PAYMENT WAS CASH. I HAD THIS RESERVATION FOR A WEEK AND I AM FROM OUT OF TOWN. I WAS NEVER INFORMED OF THIS "NEW POLICY" BY THE HILTON/HAMPTON AFFILIATED HOTELS. HAD I BEEN NOTIFIED OF THIS CHANGE, I NEVER WOULD HAVE BOOKED THIS HOTEL. LUCKLIY, I FOUND ANOTHER HOTEL ACCOMMODATION WITH HOLIDAY INN IGH HOTELS. I WAS ALSO A HILTON REWARDS MEMBER BUT I WILL NO LONGER WANT ANY AFFILIATION WITH HILTON/HAMPTON HOTELS.

The bathroom shower had some residual hair it it, but everything else was clean and nice. The location was perfect for reataurants, the Riverwalk, and many of the tourist sights. We liked the continental reakfast and the staff were all great.
