We are locals and having a staycation. The hotel is in a perfect location within walking distance of the Riverwalk to lots of places for eat and drink. The rooms were quaint and a feel of how the hotel may have been a long time ago. Staff was great.

The historical look and style are great. so much better than the chain hotels that are everywhere. The big Crockett Hotel sign on the top of the building was really helpful when I went for walks. Staff were very nice, helpful and I’ll stay again!

I love staying at hotels like this! So much history. My husband and I loved the happy hour beers. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was refreshingly cold and the bed was super comfortable. They even provided a crib/pack n play for my six month old. We would’ve had a perfect view of The Alamo if it weren’t for the construction but the view was still really nice of the city skyline and another historic hotel.

Great location & facilities. The front desk staff was very accommodating with our early check-in and helping with our luggage storage. I feel $45 is a bit steep for valet parking.

The ALAMO is across the street, so it's the perfect spot from which to explore downtown San Antonio and the River Walk. The hotel has a privately owned restaurant and bar off the lobby, which is a good choice if the weather is bad--or even if it isn't! :)

The Crockett Hotel was a great experience! Clean room, comfortable bed, the hotel smelled so good. The gentleman who checked us in was wonderful. Would definitely recommend the Crockett hotel.

Hotel was great! However DO NOT recommend using HOTELS.COM Anytime while exploring different types of hotels through the website and selecting a different hotel the website will continuously bring you back to the current date rather than the selected date you are staying at the hotel. Because of this I had caused my reservation to be at a current date rather than the future date that I wanted. I recommend using a different platform other than hotels.com or direct through the hotel.
