It is a happy place
Great location, close to beach. Oversize rooms. Mattresses need to be replaced as too soft. Management very helpful. We enjoyed our stay and recommend this motel.

Adorable little room, newly renovated. Clean and tidy. I would have liked the fridge to be plugged in half hour before I arrived. The shower temperature was hard to regulate, either extremely cold or hot…. I managed to move it slightly and not burn myself.

A diamond in the rough - right off the highway but we had a comfortable, quiet night and a nice walk into Canoe for dinner.

The hotel is “dated” and they did their best to update it. The bathroom was done very nicely but the finishes on the walls with homemade headboard and wood thing around the bedside light fixture is tacky. There are a lot of extension cords powering the lights and TV and it is a bit concerning to me. There was also a strange odour in the room. It might have been made worse with the A/C running. Other than that it was clean throughout (bathroom and bedding, etc). It served its purpose for the one night.

Clean updated room with excellent service. Owner even provided a larger fridge freezer so that a large perishable item I had with me did not spoil. I would stay there again even though it’s a few km away from centre of Salmon Arm townsite.

The Motel Happy salmon was superb! We choose to stay because of the reviews and it did not disappoint. Our room was so clean, the beds were comfortable and the pillows were perfect! I am very picky about pillows ☺️. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. The location was great being right on the highway. The perfect base camp spot. Will definitely return to the Happy Salmon🥰
