Is this the nicest budget hotel in all of Kansas? I was a bit worried that my GPS was taking me to the wrong place as I was passing in between grain silos but though it is off the beaten path and not really convenient from I-70 this hotel is a gem. Completely remodeled, much older motor lodge with a newer 2-story addition. I was told it was 3 years old but you would never know it by the condition of the building or my room. Spotlessly clean, well laid out, well insulated. Even though it was 90+ at 10 pm I barely needed to run the AC. Bed and pillows first rate. No pool, spa, gym, laundry, or even breakfast and not much of a lobby but if you want a quiet, clean place for the money you can’t do any better. They do offer a morning coffee and juice bar and several fast food places are about a mile away. For the price, I don’t think you can touch this hotel’s quality anywhere in the state. Highly recommend.

We stayed in room 28 which was a newer part of the motel. It was so clean! Very spacious, lots of room for clothes, luggage, etc. walk in shower was large, nice and clean. It had a microwave and mini fridge with separate freezer. Felt safe there, and was quiet. They had a coffee machine, cappuccino machine, and orange & apple juice. No complaints about No continental breakfast considering the drinks offered and the price. Did I mention how CLEAN it was? Highly recommend this motel and would definitely stay here again if in the area.

This is a delightful motel that is not just remodeled, but remodeled with the best materials and care. The room we had with apparently new queen beds was eloquent..such a surprise for the low price. This is a historic motel along old Highway 40, but doesn’t look historic. It is completely modernized and we thought we were in an expensive motel room! Great place to stay!

The Best Inn Motel was very clean and appeared to be recently updated. There are some thing that could be improved. The towel linens left a lot to be desired. The AC was a little loud and the parking was crowded. The motel was a very good value.

Very clean and one of the nicest places I’ve stayed for the price. Everything in the room seemed new. It’s a short drive to down town. The one drawback is there is not much around as far as stores, restaurants or bars in the immediate walking distance.

REMARKABLE! I was absolutely amazed at the room and facility in the new building where my room was located. Brand new, first rate in every respect. VERY nice room, great amenities and friendly service. SUPER VALUE! This stay was part of a long 4,000 mile trip and this room was the least expensive room on my journey - BUT THE NICEST room by far! I'd compare to any major upscale room. I travel 60+ nights a year and stay in all of the major brands. This was a great value and a great room. So surprising! Will absolutely stay again! Loved the town too!

It looks like the property has been recently remodeled. Everything is new and clean! Nice big flatscreen TV. Lights work great, nice lamps on nightstands with wireless charging. Even has a little office space with an office chair. Everything in the bathroom worked great, comfy bed. New microwave and fridge and freezer which was bigger than most.

EXTREMELY clean room. AC is a little loud but gets super cold. Only negative was no shower head (I stayed in room 6) and no plug ins in the restroom. Front staff was extremely sweet and helpful. I stayed by myself while my son was at a recruiting trip to Kansas Wesleyan and felt extremely safe. For sure will be staying again!

This is a great value for the price. If I can make a recommendation ask for a room not facing the front street as the trucks get a little noisy in the night. Staff was really nice and property was well taken care of.
