WHEN WE CAME TO STAY THE FRONT DESK GUY TREATED US AS IF WE WERE BOTHERIG HIM. THERE WAS NO ONE ELSE IN THE LOBBY BUT US, HE WAS ON HIS PHONE OR COMPUTER (NOT SURE). DURING OUR STAY WE ASKED IF HE COULD RECOMMEND OR GIVE US A NAME OF A PLACE TO EAT. HE SAID NO (NO EXPLENATION JUST NO)!!! WE WERE THERE FOR 3 NIGHTS AND DID NOT NEED OUR ROOM CLEANED. HOWEVER,WE DID ASK FOR A EXTRA BAG FOR OUR TRASH. WE HAD ALREADY THREW THE FULL ONE AWAY. HE JUST GAVE A AGGRAVATED SIGH AND HANDED US A BAG SO TINY (I THINK IT WAS FOR THE ICE BUCKET). INSTEAD OF BOTHERING HIM AGAIN WE BOUGHT OUR OWN BAG. WE DID NOT WANT TO BOTHER HIM AGAIN. HOWEVER, DURING THE NIGHT ABOUT 10:-00-11:00 I WENT DOWN TO ASK TO BUY A SODA. HE STATED THEY WERE $5.00 FOR A CAN. I TOLD HIM I DID NOT WANT TO SPEND $5.00 ON A 20 OZ.CAN (HE THEN ROLLED HIS EYES AT ME).I THANKED HIM AND TOLD HIM I WOULD GO ACROSS THE STREET. WE COME TO SALIDA ABOUT 3-4 TIMES A YEAR FOR 3-7 DAY AS A TIME. WE HAVE ALWAYS HAD GREAT SERVICE. WE USUALLY STAY AT A DIFFERENT HOTEL THERE. THIS TIME WE THOUGHT WE WOULD TRY A NW PLACE.WE WON'T BE STAYING AT HYMPTON INN AGAIN THO.
