the hotel isn't as good as it was before Drury Inns bought it. The breakfast was Ok, actually nice not to spend $20 eating at one of the local cafes.

The staff and outdoor areas were a great draw. The rooms, however have not been updated since the 1970's. The beds were like laying on ironing boards and no sound proofing between floors! Very noisy. You are definitely paying for where the hotel is, in a beautiful setting along the river.

We truly enjoyed our stay. The evening reception and breakfast were awesome. Everybody was very helpful and friendly. The balcony off our room was a nice touch. We would definitely stay there again.

Check was at 4 pm. We arrived about 230 hoping for a room early. Was told our room wasn't ready yet. As we waited in the lobby 15 other people were checked in and given rooms. We were finally checked in at 510 pm. We had 530 dinner reservations that we just made.

Nice place to stay!
Great location if you are visiting Frankenmuth! Friendly staff, super clean, good breakfast options, the happy hour was a nice treat each night! Room was clean, like having covered parking!
