I stayed here this past weekend and had some issues with my room not being the one that I booked. I had booked a suite and arrived at 11:00 pm to be given a smaller room which would not fit the 5 people in our group. The way that hotel handled the situation was top notch. They provided us with an additional room that was connecting to the other room. They also gave us a discount for the mistake. This could have been a very bad experience but the hotel did a great job of fixing the mistake they made. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and had a decent free breakfast, I would definitely stay here again.

There was some confusion upon arrival. I'm still kind of confused on how I made reservations months ago and when I arrived the amount was NOT the amount displayed. So I was charged for one night, until the morning staff came in. Still confusion, so I just made another reservation. I believe my card was charged more than once. Hopefully not! The economy is bad enough. Can't afford to be overcharged.

Room was fine. The breakfast had good options but the food was old. The eggs were stuck to the pan, sausage and potatoes dry, omelette were broken apart. We went down to eat at 930 and the close time was 10. But that shouldn't mean we get stale and not fresh food. We also were billed double the charge but the morning staff was good and ordered a refund right away.

Upon arrival, front desk was greatly helpful and pleasant to work with. The breakfast they have is pretty good and comparable to other Holiday Inns I've stayed at. The room itself was a nice size room, the thermostat is a bit confusing as i wasnt sure what to use for the temperature (a/c unit or wall unit). The bathroom was a good size and had plenty of soaps. The bad was that the floor still had hair from a previous customer, the shower wasnt the cleanest (could use some new caulking), the cieling had either a spigot or some type of fire suppressor that wasnt covered and the spackling wasnt the greatest. The stairs had a bit of a weird smell (used female hygiene products left in a bag). Overall, we had a good stay but needs just a little bit more attention to detail to get it better.

My favorite place to stay in Saginaw. Clean, professionally run, on a major artery with plenty of shopping and food. Also right off the ramp of a highway, so convenient to get to. Responsive staff who are courteous, and room is comfortable. They also pass the filter test: first thing I do when I walk into a hotel room is pull the air filter out of the air conditioner/heating unit. Easily, 7 out of 10 times the filter has not been cleaned in months. I pulled the filter out at this hotel, and it had been recently cleaned: no dust in the filter. That's a plus for me, as it reveals a level of thorough cleanliness.

The front desk staff was AMAZING! She went above and beyond to accommodate our travel baseball team. As someone who stays in a different hotel every weekend in the summer this staff member was honestly the BEST we have ever had!
