The photos and expectations shared did not match what we were expecting. It was obvious from our check-in that this hotel was dated. When we were provided with our room and entered, it smelled of mildew. The front desk warned us about the chips in the tub and that they were trying to get someone back to remodel. There was a chair in the corner that had holes in it and there were scuffs on the walls and bathroom floor. Our bedspread had holes in it and the blanket was dated as well. Our ground floor room came with a doll rod to place in our window. Breakfast was waffles, cereal and bagels with beverages. It was obvious that room rates differed from guest to guest and some were complaining which made checkout a little awkward for the woman folding sheets behind the front desk.

Hotel is old & outdated. Has a hot tub, but no pool. Bath tub was peeling, tv stand had chunks out of it. Rolling chair in the room was missing an arm rest which was on the floor when we entered the room. They don't clean the rooms daily, so you have to ask for clean towels during your stay and make your own bed. They also dont empty the trash, we had to ask for a new garbage bag to change our own trash. We thought this was a different hotel when we booked it. We definitely will not be staying here again.

First, let me start by saying that the staff was very nice! The big issues were with the room and conditions. Although you can see there have been some improvements to the building, the room that we stayed in had not. There were chips throughout the shower/tub, the faucet was dirty, there was a crack in the tile, the sink was stained and what was supposed to be a tissue holder was completely rusted out and looked terrible. There was a spot of something on the only chair in the room, the furnace cover (very old) fell off when trying to adjust the temperature of the room and some kind of smell that was in the hallway and room. In addition to this, the room was very minimal. Not even a nightstand. We took one look when we walked in and almost walked right back downstairs to cancel our stay altogether!! We decided to stick it out and although we didn’t have any major problems, we will not stay here again. There was a complimentary breakfast, but again, VERY minimal. There were several bread items; waffle maker (that was nearly empty and took several minutes to fill a cup as big as a shot glass), bagels, and cereal. The only healthy items were bananas. No eggs, no sausage or bacon…just carbs and juice (from a fountain) and warm milk. Lastly, there is a pool, but there was a full skim of hair that was on top of the water—-gross. Again, the staff was all VERY nice, but the lower cost is not worth the stay.

Good night's rest in a clean room with a comfortable bed. Just what we needed for a night passing through town. The only thing that was wrong was the bathtub in our room was peeling and was rather unsightly to look at. At check-in, we were informed of this, and everything was clean.
