She relayed to me that several times when she went downstairs she encountered a group of guys who seemed to be "challenged " and they yelled after her and asked her to buy them cigarettes and then kept saying she was pretty and asked where she was going and that is the sole reason for a 3 star review. She relayed to me that everything else was great

We enjoy staying at this AmericInn for many reasons. The staff are super friendly, the breakfast is phenomenal, the rooms clean, and the pool is absolutely great (hot tub was under maintenance this tike, but usually nice).

Quiet, clean and nice.
CHeckin was easy, staff was helpful and attentive. Only major complaint was NO elevator to the 2nd floor. Stairs were carpeted and not too steep, but still a inconvenience for elderly and physically challanged folks. THey have the space for an elevator.

The hot tub is out of order, the shower before pool was out of order. There was a water fountain broken and an eye sore. Beds are hard for my liking(but everyone's opinions very). The doors had to be pushed closed with some effort in the room.

Excellent staff service. They were friendly, quick and very helpful. Pet friendly. Convenient location near highway but not too close for noise. Needs improvement: the room had a musky odor and needed a new carpet. Also the room did not have translucent curtains. It only had drapes making privacy difficult during the day, when we wanted natural light.

When you walked in the door, it said welcome to our clean air, and it smelled as if it was moldy. It was in our room. It was an awful smell. There was holes in the wall or picked or paint chips that had been filled in, but never painted the floor my husband said felt like it had something on it and it needed replaced, the beds were clean. The staff didn’t know what was going on in Bay City and we were there on a Wednesday and on Wednesdays. There’s a band that plays downtown free of charge. There was lots of eating places downtown. I don’t think there is anything by the by the hotel? I’ve never stayed in AmericInn That I was so disappointed in that it doubted me staying in another one. We were looking for to the hot tub and it wasn’t working. You can go to the pool, but everything was so dirty that I didn’t feel comfortable going into the pool.

The room was clean and the staff was friendly. The breakfast had plenty of options. We were in town for a family reunion, and the bonus was have a nice clean place to stay with smiling staff at the desk.
