The hotel and all the history preservation has a plus in all levels. Unfortunately, the visibly aggressive homeless population in Cesar Chavez Park across from the hotel and near City Hall made us feel uncomfortable and less safe in the area.

Beautiful property within walking distance of many nice restaurants and venues. We walked to a comedy show about 2 blocks away. There were several homeless folks on the streets but all were friendly.
