I liked that I got a room with a view of the capital. I liked the 2 VIP drinks in the bar. The bar had good cocktails and food I didn't like that there weren't any coffee cups in my room I didn't like that there wasn't any free parking

It’s a very nice hotel
I really enjoy this hotel. The service is exceptional. However the parking garage next to it that the hotel recommended I could not use do to the gate not working. Sacramento now charges to park on the st on Sundays. If you Uber to hotel from airport it’s a great option. Parking is the only drawback… this Hilton is ALWAYS GREAT!

Great bed. Pillows too soft for my preference. Need to provide different levels of firmness. Cafe Bernardo is a local gem of a restaurant with great pricing.

My stay at Fort Sutter Hilton was excellent. We were fortunate to find such a wonderful hotel right across the street from Sutter hospital. My trip was for medical reasons. We stayed for about 4 days. The room was the best. The beds n pillows n comforters n mattresses were very comfortable. All the amenities were the best. It was so quiet too. I really appreciated that. The staff was beyond excellent. We’ve never had such welcoming people n polite people working in a hotel. Our surroundings were safe. The area around the hotel was very safe n was very lit at nite. Walking back from hospital felt safe. There was hustle n bustle in the area surrounding the hospital but my wife said she never noticed that in the room. We have to return to the hospital several more times but now I know you all are there n my wife n I like you very much. Tim Herrera

Will return to this hotel when visiting Sacramento. Everything else is decent, except Wifi and phone reception. What to expect: the in room Wifi is extra. Room had little to no reception so no luck with using phone internet or Hotspot. In order to get important calls or text messages cell phone needs to be stuck to the window. Lobby Wifi was supposedly free but did not work. So no work and planning that needs internet could be done while inside hotel which was frustrating. Shower what to expect: the water pressure and volume is very very low. Probably some Sacramento regulation. My usual 5 minute shower went 5 times as long trying to get the soap off and cold the whole time as water only covers a small portion of body at a time as it trickles out. Not sure how much water is actually saved when I have to shower 5 times as long. Besides those small hassles, great stay.
