Not so pleasant stay
The front staff was very un professional during checkins. The hotel room’s door lock was not working from the inside. The property had people parting in front of my door from 1:30-3:30 and the security guard and the front desk staff didn’t even respond to my call. The next door neighbor was very loud and obnoxious. My friend and I couldn’t sleep. I reported it in the morning and nothing happened and the front desk person didn’t acknowledge or apologize to me. I will not recommend this location for anyone.

Had an issue with the hot water but they went above and beyond to help with the situation and I was happy with that. Breakfast is always the best here. Biscuits and gravy is my favorite.

No hot water
Hot tub was perfect! The plumbing did not have hot water. Like Luke warm at the most. I was shivering and cold. Crying. The water temperature ruined it for us. Family of 6. Very sad. Would not credit us days or refund. I complained every day and they would act like someone is going to come but no show. Or show, act like they are fixing and leave but it’s still not hot. Barely warm.

First of all, I am disappointing with this application because when I did the reservation and I request the two beds in the photos they were showing I was going to have bigger place with the balcony and soon as I arrive to the proper hand check in they tell me I was not going to have a balcony. The only they told me there was. I had to decide if I want to be upstairs or downstairs and I decide to have upstairs but it was this proper so duty smell Bad And also I was trying to make coffee the coffee pot don’t work either so I was not happy with the property smell really bad the carpet that was dirty and I was not happy with the staff member the food quality it was OK but the rest of the stuff it was so bad and secure for Family with kids. It was not safe.

The front desk woman Tracy was so kind, I arrived as they were about to close the hot tub and I was sore from my drive and she had them keep the hot tub open an extra half hour and called my room to let me know! 10/10 hospitality

I chose this property as I had a last minute business trip in the area and generally have had positive experiences with Best Western owned properties. While the room I stayed in worked for the purposes intended, it SMELLED like gross chemicals and honestly, I wouldn’t stay there again. In retrospect I should have requested a room change but I was exhausted from my work trip and needed to sleep which I had to do under the covers of bedding to avoid the stench.

PREDATORY MANAGEMENT/SKETCHY UNSAFE NEIGHBORHOOD
Pictures are very deceiving, by looking at those pics you would believe the location is in a really nice part of town but actually the opposite as it sits right smack in the middle of homeless camps and open air drug markets so be prepared for that when pulling up to their driveway. That’s not a dealbreaker for me but what is a dealbreaker is a rude money hungry staff that does not believe in providing great customer service to keep repeat business coming back but here they believe in getting you for as much as they can as they only plan on using you once. They just lost me as a cusyomer for life over $80. I bet they feel like they just won the lotto with that free $80

The neighborhood is not the greatest and the metal gates around the property made me feel a little safer, but at the same time, uncomfortable because I knew why the gates were needed. Pool hadn’t been cleaned in awhile. But overall good for the cost and clean.

Don’t stay here!
The water in the shower was ice cold - when we called front desk about it we were told that sometimes the faucets were backwards- the water was then scalding hot and we couldn’t get it to regulate the temperature. Also the water in the sink dripped out and we couldn’t get any water pressure. The blackout curtains were NOT blackout and we were up at the crack of dawn because the room was so light. When we told front desk about all of this were we just told sorry. We called the manager about this and never received a call back. The room was in poor condition and was in a bad area as we were told by the gas station across the street that car jackings happen all the time and there is a high level of prostitution.
