For a downtown motel, they try!

Lots of homeless all around, but staff was very attentive to keeping the homeless out. Motel seems to try for cleanliness. Pool is not swim-able. Well lit.

Don't go through Expedia. Took 20 minutes for the front desk person to figure out how to cancel a double booked room that I had already cancelled and had all the confirmation numbers and receipts. The line started backing up, both rooms were paid, at least get us into the room that I actually paid for as we all were going to be late. It is very convenient to downtown and had a microwave, fridge and coffee maker, all things I have to have. The place was not super clean, some products like conditioner were open and used. It was extremely LOUD, with horns honking till midnight, used earplugs which that sucks in itself so I would not choose this hotel again. Another plus would be that if you bring your own pillows the actual bed itself is not bad to sleep in, I did finally fall asleep with all the noise from the street. Snacks in the morning with coffee, that's a plus as well.

Dont use the shower/sink

Overall good location for central Sac. The staff is great and they over breakfast in the morning! The only issue was water in shower and sink came out dirty… dirt or pipe residue was left after water was turned off. Did not use any water unless i bought it myself.

This was the LOUDEST hotel I’ve ever stayed at. You can hear everything! They were doing construction at the hotel in the wee hours of the morning. Rooms were clean and it’s close to good bars and restaurants.

Loudest room I've ever stayed in. Cleaning people wanted to clean the room at 930am. Cockroach on the bed!!! One of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in and I never do reviews. Staff was kind, but didn't seem too concerned over the roach.

Convenient for convention center, low end option

Staff is wonderful, location is perfect if you have activities at the convention center. However, homeless people on drugs in the parking lot at night when we arrived, and cigarettes and trash in stairwells. Didn’t feel safe.

Denied me check in, asked for extra money since my ID was expired. turned me away & told me to ask expedia for a refund as quality inn had not charged me. expedia denied my refund and said for $100 more or going back to my house to get my passport (im physically hours from home and presently at the hotel) they would check me in. Thank you for the lack of help expedia & quality inn!
