Staff was not friendly. We were on a road trip, didnt need much more than just a bed. People hanging around in the parkinglot drinking and lord knows what else. Property was very run down. Had to wake up the front desk person at 6am just to check out.

Dirty floor
I found that the room (particularly the floor) had not been thoroughly cleaned. I found a couple hairs and then I used a wipe to wipe the floor and the wipe was dirty and full of hairs! as if someone had a haircut in the room. I also found hair in the bathtub and a few around the sink. The floor by the door had a big sticky part as if something spilled and it hadn’t been mopped. Also, the bathroom smelled like pee! It grossed me out and made me wonder about the cleanliness of the rest of the room. I stayed two nights and decided against moving rooms because it was an inconvenience to pack everything back up and move with my small child again. Also, the ice was very far away from my room and the hotel is pretty big so decided to do without ice. My key also stopped working after the first day and I had to go back to the office to get activated again, that was very annoying and inconvenient! Overall, I didn’t feel comfortable at this hotel.

Conflict in front lobby
There’s a security issue with the homeless population. During breakfast security is posted at the entrance of the lobby near the office which hosts the continental breakfast who essentially IDs you as an occupant. There was apparently a vagrant person that snuck through and started making breakfast. The housekeeper alerted security, security asked the person’s name and room number and when the guy couldn’t comply, a verbal and physical conflict escalated.

The room is nothing like the pictures when I booked them, the room is so tiny. Dirty, old, smelly like pee. The toilet is not flushing well. The shower water is not hot enough. The entire property is in the bad conditions.

The ice machine is located behind the front desk. You have to walk all the way from your room to the front desk the showerhead don’t point into the bathtub. The walls are dirty with food and fingerprint stains. The bedding has stains on the covers. The refrigerator does not work. The microwave will not hold a 20 ounce cup of coffee to reheat it. There are stray people and stray animals all in and around the parking lot. It is very unsafe and nerve-racking going to and from your car I was more exhausted after my stay there than I was after driving from Louisiana. Each time I went out to my vehicle to smoke my room key did not work. I had to go to the front desk multiple times to have a key remade for my room. I ended my reservation two days early. I wish I would’ve ended it sooner. I will never stay here. I would never recommend staying here
