This Hyatt Place Hotel is the only hotel that I have stayed which does not provide housekeeping services in the guest rooms. We stayed a total of two nights in two separate rooms, none of our rooms were cleaned, throughout our entire stay. The bathrooms in the lobby areas were filthy. The bathrooms in the In and Out burgers which we later visited was way cleaner than The Hyatt Place in Davis, CA. To be fair, I must mentioned that the two receptionists on duty during our stay, especially the receptionist who helped check us in around 9:pm on March 28, 2025 was exceptional. She was friendly and helpful. She even helped with dusting and cleaning the lobby when she saw the need. An exceptional employee!

This was so close to the UC Davis welcome center that we could just walk over to our campus tour and not need to deal with campus parking options at all

Very nice property and very quiet. Breakfast bar ran out of regular coffee early and did not replace. Coffee available for purchase at beverage bar! Also, very few choices for cold drinks to purchase at convenience bar. Otherwise would stay again due to other redeeming factors including friendly staff.

Be ready to pay $17 a night for parking. Very spacious and clean room. We had a king room with a pullout couch. Everything was exceptional. Warm breakfast in the morning. Eggs sausage yogurt fruit, apple and orange juice, coffee and teas, bread and bagels. Fantastic service and very friendly. Great location by the arboretum. Walk the coast redwood pathway right from your hotel.
