The TV was a hit or miss to turn on , you had to move the screen one way or another to get it to work. Couldn’t get warm water in the shower, come to find out the plumbing was backwards so turn to cold to get hot. Brkfst was very bland , I understand being short handed but serving food straight out of a package without putting any effort into making it taste and look good is bad. Just don’t serve brkfst.

Room was adequate but loud. Nothing fancy and fairly priced. Thin walls and rooms rattle when anyone lets the door close on its own. Breakfast was included but just ok. The people working up front were very nice, polite and made it worth the stay.

I don’t know how this property had an excellent rating. It is very old and has not been updated at all. The toilet only flushed when you pressed the handle down twice and held it down on the second press. The refrigerator would periodically start buzzing so loud it was alarming. One of the outlets was pulling away from the wall. The only luggage cart available was rickety and felt like it was ready to fall apart. The room was obviously not professionally painted…not only were the corners uneven but there was paint on the curtains and old holes in the walls from previous hangings were painted over without being filled in. There wasn’t even any Kleenex in the room. The whole place felt like someone bought an old hotel and tried to keep it running with no previous hospitality experience.

Nice one night stay. The location of the hotel is near Inn of the Mountain Gods and not far from downtown. The rooms are good, but the restrooms and all of the carpet need replacement. This hotel has potential to be really good. Needs some investment.
