We like this Hotel a lot, Rooms are very dated though, but the dining/ breakfast area are lovely! The heated pool/tub is also great.

Really special place in an exceptional, vacation town. Beautiful setting surrounded by the golf course and mountains. Spent three nights and could not have been happier. Drove to town on the first morning and saw wild horses grazing along the road. Came back to the hotel on the second day and saw elk on the golf course.

The name, “Elegant” incapsulates this Hotel. The room was clean, fresh and inviting. Cameras noted in all key areas promoting a secure environment. The pool/spa room is huge, clean with warm water. Several large gas grills with fireplaces in back and a central fire pit with enough room for all. An approx 2 mile walking path, Elk bugling. Breakfast buffet with enough choices for even the pickiest of diners with made to order omelettes. A small full bar, a gift shop and an abundance of leather chairs in the lobby. The bad: Wi-Fi seemed spotty at times, speed check showed about 11-15 mbs. I thoroughly enjoyed the pool, however I did not like waiting and asking more than once to be let into the pool room. I did not like having a “Monitor” aka Babysitter sit there as I used the jacuzzi/pool area. I’m a grown-assed man of 55. I have a professional job and know how to act appropriately in a pool area, let me swim in peace and not to be made to feel intimidated by having to ask permission to use an amenity. Wild horse four sum.
It was great place to stay. View of golf course. Saw elk and wild horses out the window. Received extra help with refrigerator to keep insulin.

We got placed in a room where after getting into bed, the sheet shifted up and exposed a dry blood soaked mattress, not specs, a whole someone bleed on this thing for a while kinda soak. After reporting it, the front staff responded with “well, no one has died here”. We were moved to another room, with worse view and sewer smell coming from the bathroom. Bathroom water did not even get hot. The room was expensive for what we experienced, will not return and DO NOT recommend.
