Stayed here many times previously. This time however, the quality of room servicing was very poor. No vacuuming done, shower and sink not cleaned properly. Outside the entrance was disgusting with over spilling dustbins and over full smokers ashtrays. Not tidied for at least 4 days. Staff are friendly enough and helpful.

Shabby and smelly
This hotel is tired and shabby. Initially our room did not have capacity to sleep three as I had booked and paid for. Sent to a different room that stank of urine, faeces and water from taps smelt like sewage. Bathroom filthy with cracked floor tiles and badly stained worktop and mould in shower. Brown carpets filthy. I refused to take off my shoes whilst walking around. Beds fairly comfy and sheets clean but an awful awful smell of urine and general uncleanliness stopped me sleeping well. Probably one of the most basic and unpleasant hotels I have stayed in and I do many short overnight trips per year. Avoid.

Great place to stay the staff go out of there way to make your visit memorable very helpful rooms are loverly my room 4 was nice and quiet I slept really well bed was good will stay again if in the area plenty of food options McDonald's morrisons supermarket and garage. And other places

Family and Pet Friendly
Booked two rooms, for our family of five and our cocker spaniel. The rooms were clean, tidy and a decent size. The hotel has a bar area, with a pool table, comfy chairs and couches as well as a children's corner. Very nice for a budget hotel! The staff were above reproach. Friendly, helpful and always willing to help in anyway possible. Our pup fell in love since treats were offered! Even though we only stayed one night, it was a very nice experience. Five stars all around and would def. be happy to stay again.

Given an accessible room right next to very noisy corridor and door that kept slamming shut. at time of stay nothing was available at the bar. Hardly anything available at restaurant also, everything out of stock, then when two guys tried to bring food in from outside they were told they couldn’t!? I ended up eating at McDonalds around the corner as it was a better option. Breakfast was luke warm and poor quality. Avoid at all costs

Very basic hotel, no frills and just a place to get your head down, which is reflected in the price. Friendly and attentive staff, breakfast was good and offer GF options.

Very handy location with a Morrisons supermarket and fuel station opposite. Noise from the motorway is not too bad with the windows open and non existent with them closed. Fan available at reception. Carol and Paula were both very welcoming and helpful. Would stay again.
