I stay here every week for work and kept staying here because of the price. Now the price is going up and last week there was a cockroach in my room. Guess I have to find a new place to stay.
This is an old Baymont that is now Cash Rewards, but they have not changed the sign. "Old" is the word here- not updated at all! Not clean, used bar of soap in shower, dirty towels outside my door when i checked in, toilet paper dispenser coming out of wall. Its cheap, but . . .

Was much cleaner when it was a Baymont. Cigarette butts and filth in the elevator door track and elevator floor was nasty. Room and hallways didn’t smell as clean. Bed was comfy. Shower was great!! Only one lamp in the whole room worked even after plugging them in. The night receptionist was friend key. The day manager, NOT so much…. Breakfast was only black coffee and grocery store donuts.The waffle batter dispenser did not have a jug of batter in it. Cereal and syrup was all over the counter and there was very little milk left in the gallon jug. Indoor pool and hot tub closed.
This particular hotel is going through a transition from a well known chain to an independent owner. The owner has no idea on how to run a hotel. There’s no system in place to keep track of available rooms. I checked in around 7:30 pm and around 3:30 am someone came into my room. Thankfully I had the security lock and they couldn’t get in. Who ever checked that person into my room had no idea I was there. That’s not safe at all. Never have I had that experience before in any of the hotels I’ve stayed. I didn’t feel comfortable staying there after that and wouldn’t return to that hotel.
