Staff accommodated my request for the 1st floor as I had a lot of stuff to bring in from a long road trip. I appreciate having a kitchen with some pans and dishes. There’s a stove which I didn’t use but nice if I did need to cook! The room looks like it’s newly renovated. The windows are double shaded with blackout blinds and screens so you could let natural light in during the day. No dusty curtains! There are also plenty of electrical outlets and enough lights for a bright room at night, as oppose to hotels that have dim lamps in corners of the room and you can’t see inside your luggage. The 2 things they could improve on is 1) cleaning of the floors (and inside the fridge) which was not well mopped as what looks like melted popsicles inside the freezer dripping down into the fridge and on to the floor. (I also don’t understand inconsiderate travelers who don’t clean after themselves!) and 2) fix the heating/cooling unit that is so loud…not humming but churning and running like an engine. Overall it was a comfortable overnight stay one I turned off the air conditioning.

Great hotel find in Roswell, New Mexico.

The B&J hotel on Kentucky Street in Roswell, NM provided us a lovely stay on recent trip. We tip our hats to the outstanding staff -- they take courteous, friendly hospitality to a new level. The B&J is a relatively new hotel option. It's just a couple blocks off the bustling Main Street with that area's focus on the history and lore of the Roswell UFO landing. The B&J hotel is very bright and clean. It's reasonably priced too. Plus it's close to restaurants, retail shops, and even a grocery store (the rooms have kitchenettes). I'm happy someone recommended the B&J hotel to us.

This was a great deal! For how much I paid I expected very little, but got a beautiful studio apartment in a beautiful building, in a quiet part of town! Everything was great! The room was super clean, staff was super friendly, building was obscure (as in no advertising out front, looks like an apartment complex, but is actually a hotel) but had no problem finding with maps app. If I’m ever back I’d stay here again.

A pleasant change from the norm

From our entrance through the lobby, down the tiled halls and into our impeccable room the entire premises felt clean and inviting. The tiled floors with throw rugs felt like home. The decor was thoughtful, including books to read. I never heard sounds from neighboring rooms and very little distant street sound. We had peaceful, restful sleep. Will definitely stay here again.

Great experience

Staff remembered me from my last visit, asked if I liked the room I had previously stayed in, and offered to put me back in the same room. Unlike my previous visit, there was a guest upstairs from my room, so it was a little less quiet but still quieter than most hotels I’ve stayed at. Room was clean, WiFi was a bit spottier than my previous stay for the first night but then improved again, linens aren’t automatically exchanged everyday which I think is great for environmental, staffing, and privacy reasons.

The only thing that would make it better is to have a central breakfast area where they serve at least some kind of breakfast.i believe it was the most quiet place Ive ever stayed in and they have more security screens than any place Ive ever seen.

Really impressed!

When I arrived at my room I was more than impressed! Extremely spacious with a kitchen, office area, separate bedroom and bathroom. It was like staying in a beautiful apartment. From the décor to the comfy amenities, I found myself pleasantly surprised. The staff were all very nice and helpful. There was plenty of parking around the facility and numerous entrances as well. The security feature was another nice surprise. All exterior doors were only usable with a code provided by the from desk. A nice extra security feature. A very quiet and serene stay. It was exactly what I needed for my stay in Roswell. I will only look to stay here in any of my future visits to Roswell. I highly reccommend it!!

No real amenities to speak of but it was a nice room for a good price. I was right near the front and i was able to hear everyone who started up their car in the morning. Kinda rough to sleep through on vacation but not a terrible place
