I stayed at this hotel before and think it is very classy and historic. Got a Mountain View room because of cost and it sure did not rank with the ocean view and no upgrade was offered. But a nice hotel none the less

The staff at the hotel and restaurant are great. Viviana at the front desk concierge set up nice tours for us. Dive shop was very good and convenient. Our room was nice, but we had a problem with the ac which was fixed right away. Overall very good. Unfortunate location by cruise ship terminal. Noisy.

This hotel is in the process of upgrading its facilities and one can tell that this will be a very nice hotel in the future. However, they do need to beef up security as I did not feel that the hotel was properly safe guarded. There were random people coming in to the hotel yelling and shouting aggressively. Lastly, the doors at least my door did not lock all the way and it further contributed to the security concerns. Hopefully, the grounds will be better protected in the future because this site has so much potential.

The hotel room had both great ocean and mountain views. The restaurant food was good. Staff were always friendly. I would recommend this hotel, especially rooms in the new building

Came on business. The staff did not clean rooms; when asked for it, the cleaning lady was rude and aggressive. The reception staff ignored the substance of asks . Very sad … the last impression of Dominica …
