Fort Young Hotel is unique in it's historical structure of being built on a Fort. The Property is beautifully and breath taking with views of both the Ocean and Mountain and is in walking distance of the old and new Market, Botanical Gardens, DBS, many restaurants and supermarkets. I was even more impressed and pleased with their customer service where each employee who I encountered was helpful, warm, authentically pleasant and made my 1night experience at Fort Young Memorable! First time back in Dominica for some time, and loved the upgrades to Fort Young. It really looks amazing (though I worry that some of the construction quality isn’t of great standard and will need to be redone sooner than later). The reception and bar area look gorgeous. The games area is just perfect for kids. The food was really good (at least for lunch and dinner). And we were given the most amazing upgrade from a king room to a suite—couldn’t be more grateful as we’re a family of four and forgot to book two queen beds. My kids said “this is a six star hotel”. Thank you for bringing such class to Dominica. FY really is a national gem.
