We stayed for 3 nights in October and really enjoyed our time there. The hotel is older but well kept, it has a lot of character and once you walk in you feel like you went back in time. The room was very clean and spacious and also very quiet. The location of the hotel is very central and you can walk to pretty much a lot of the main attractions. Would definitely recommend and stay again in my next trip to the eternal city of Rome.

Quirky Quirinale
Hotel is old but mostly well kept. The room was connected to another one. Floors creaked and could see light shining underneath connecting door. Staff were friendly but a lot were new and were in training so service was slow. The public rooms are ornate and the hotel has been modified over the years so is a little quirky.

The location was only an 11 minute walk from the train station. Many tourist sites were also within walking distance if your are relatively fit. Even if not, the desk will call you a cab if needed. Lots and lots of restaurants and shops across the street or within a block or two. The layout is a bit of a maze at first but we figured it out. Rooms were large by European standards and nicely appointed. Shower is narrow. Breakfast was awesome. Lots to choose from.

Hotel makes a good first impression- elegant lobby, pleasant staff but overall experience is that it’s a very high throughput place Location is ideal for exploring Rome on foot The rooms are not as impressive as lobby- no where to put your suitcase except the floor, floors were not so clean in room, shower worked well but bathroom dated for a 4 star Breakfast-lots of selection but scrambled eggs were cold both days I tried them and I found coffee undrinkable and there was no regular black tea only herbal or earl grey

The Hotel has gone downhill since we were there last in 2016. Will never return. Some of the front desk staff were so disinterested in us that we almost left at checkin!!! There was something in the air that immediately triggered my sinus's to bother me and a massive headache. They so called gave us an “upgraded room” that was next to the massive compressors outside our window so sleeping was impossible and made my headache worse. All this on the first night!

The good? Location your close to the train terminal. 1/2 a mile away from the Trevi fountain. The street that is in has quite a few places to eat and drink. The building is historical and with that comes the charm but also you get rooms which are smaller than the pictures appear. The ac never quite cools the room down. If it’s not a summer vacation, that won’t be a problem. The hotel has an odd smell it’s not dirty but it smells like mildew? The breakfast pastries are great but just like every other place in Rome they are not used to a heavy breakfast so the eggs and meat selection are mediocre at best. Staff the bellhop was amazing he waaaay pleasant and you could tell he enjoyed his job. The rest of the staff looks down their nose at you….
