I stayed at this hotel in October and had a disappointing experience. To start, the room was advertised as having a double bed, but it was simply two single beds pushed together, which was uncomfortable. The room also lacked air conditioning despite the remote being available to control both heat and cool settings. The hotel staff never mentioned this until I complained, and I was told the heater was on because of the season.
The phone in the room didn’t work, meaning every time I had a question, I had to go down to reception. When I asked about it, one receptionist claimed it was due to "weather conditions" (wind), which seemed odd. Later, when I complained again, another receptionist admitted it was actually because of renovations, suggesting they lied initially to avoid the issue.
On top of that, the Wi-Fi was essentially useless. The signal didn’t reach my room, and when I tried to log in, it wouldn’t work. The receptionist blamed it on all the rooms being booked, as if they hadn’t considered capacity when setting up the Wi-Fi. When I pointed out that the signal didn’t even reach my room, there was no response.
There was no manager on site to escalate my complaints, and the staff made it clear they couldn’t or wouldn’t do anything to fix these problems. Overall, my stay was frustrating, and I wouldn't recommend this hotel unless these issues are resolved.
