The area of Travestare is a beautiful area to stay in when in Rome. Federico was an incredibly responsive host. The hotel is surrounded with wonderful dining spots and everything is walkable. Would recommend to anyone staying in Rome!

Broken air conditioning

We're upset that the air conditioning didn't work. It made for a pretty uncomfortable night and knowing it was supposed to be hot in Rome air conditioning was one of the most important features for us when we booked this room. Is there anything that can be done about this? There's no one at the front desk and we didn't feel comfortable calling our contact at the hotel at 2 in the morning. The space was nice and the host was nice when we met him at check in.

Perfect

Arrived early, but Federico and Maria managed to have room ready. Handy there is a bar/cafe at the front door so able to eat whilst waiting. Room has everything needed and Maria is on hand to help with Taxis etc. Trastevere has hundreds of places to eat, Hanky Suite is within 10 mins walk of all of them. A pleasant walk into the centre of Rome takes 30-40 mins. Even from the Colluseum you can walk back in under an hour enjoying the shops and bars. Great room, great hosts and in a great location without the bustle of Rome itself.

Great location! Everything was clean. Staff was very nice and responsive. The AC was strong enough to handle the heatwave. There seemed to have only been a few rooms in this suite, so it felt private. Make sure to respond to any message they send you beforehand because they need to know your arrival time in order to properly check you in. We will stay here again next time in Rome!

The perfect stay

My husband and I loved our stay at the Hanky Suite. Federico and Gloria were amazingly! They made our stay extremely comfortable. I can't thank them enough....Grazie mille!!! My husband and I love the Trastevere area. For us, the location is perfect. The boutique hotel is charming yet modern, clean, beautiful, and we hope to stay there again soon. We highly recommend the Hanky Suite.

Great location, cute hotel!

Hanky suite was a cute little hotel! There are only 3 or 4 rooms and they are all quite close to each other so if you want more privacy this might not be the space for you. For us it was totally fine though. The host was very accommodating with checking us in early and even recommended some good food spots. The location is also perfect and the room was clean and had a great view.

Gorgeous hotel - great location.

Wonderful hotel, very comfortable and the rooms were absolutely stunning. The man (sorry I can’t remember your name) was very accommodating and was incredibly friendly - he was more than willing to help up out and recommend some lovely restaurants to us.
