Fantastic hotel

The stay was amazing, the staff were all very nice and accommodating. It was my friend’s birthday and they left balloons on her bed! The room was beautiful and the bed was very comfortable. The location is ideal for sight seeing. I would defiantly recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

The Argentina is a lovely hotel nicely situated near the Pantheon, and equidistant with the Vatican and the Forum on either side. It is located inside a courtyard of a block of flats and we stayed in an annex across the street, and in both cases, the residence style in the name refers to how it is integrated into the neighborhood. When I walked up the staircase to the room in the annex, I went by entrances to other people's apartments. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We spoke to Mathilde about several matters and she always had the answers at her fingertips. The rooms were cleaned as if by magic while we at breakfast, and speaking of which, that was very good too and a nice way to ease into the day. Highly enjoyable and I would return when I am next in Rome.

The sofa bed was very uncomfortable and my top floor Neighbors felt like they were walking on my head after letting the farm desk know they kept doing the same thing.Even worse till midnight twelve thirty

This property is about 2 blocks away from Pantheon. Staff that checked me in was nice. My room was not ready until check in time but we did not mind. I booked the room with the sauna and jacuzzi but only because I wanted a larger room; did not use neither. The standard room appeared to small for 2 people There was mold in the shower Water took a long time to warm up Internet speed: ok Decor is cheap and not pleasant I felt I could have stayed at a better place for the amount of money I paid Blankets and sheets looked cleaned but my blanket smelled weird and it was very old I could not turn on the heater in the room and the room was cold Breakfast: I did not try it I went down to the reception at 1800 and asked for a sheet/blanket so I can sleep in the sofa as my daughter was sleeping in the bed and I did not get it until 2000. I don’t understand why they were not busy. This hotel was not the right fit for us.

Wonderful hotel and the service was the cherry on top. All of the employees we interacted with were extremely helpful but in particular the evening frint desk gal and bar tender (his name was possibly Jonas or Jonathan) went above and beyond to be helpful and make our stay exceptional.

We specifically wanted something in this general area but didn't want a large hotel atmosphere. We enjoyed our stay very much -- the room was comfortable and spacious (a rarity in cities like Rome) with everything we needed. Loved the heated towel rack and the well appointed bathroom; very comfortable bed, mini-fridge, coffee/tea machines, safe, climate control, etc. The only downside was no bathtub (that's a personal preference and did not diminish our enjoyment of the room) and that the location can have some traffic noise (however, that stopped around midnight, so not a deterrent) The staff was knowledgeable, informative, helpful and friendly. Communication from the hotel prior to arrival was appreciated and we knew exactly when/where to check in. Luggage storage was available and, while we were out and about prior to gaining access to our room, the staff had already delivered our luggage to the room, to where we were personally escorted by staff. We stayed in the "annex" which was a half block walk from the main location. Buffet breakfast was served in a charming room with a good variety of things to have a light or more substantial meal. Again, the staff there was very good, helpful and accommodating. Overall, this was an excellent choice and we'd definitely consider coming back in the future.
