We love this hotel. The staff is very friendly. They are in a remodel. We stayed in one of the remodeled rooms but half of the lights didn’t work. They still they have their made to order omelets.

Construction in progress feels like safety hazard

This hotel is under construction. How they have their CO to operate is beyond me. Wires are hanging from the ceiling, the halls have carpet padding down, dust is everywhere. Our first room was covered in dust as it had just been dry walled and full of beer cans, we asked to be moved and the second room was much cleaner but didn’t look like the smoke detector was hooked up, as wires were hanging out of it.

Total Reconstruction

Construction was going on in the lobby and in the halls right next to the room the entire time. Room also did not have a plug for the tub. The front desk associate Anthony was excellent!

Best kept secret in Sweetwater County

Let me be clear, this was exactly what WE needed. Two beds, hot shower, and breakfast. The extras: they make an omelette for you, the front desk is actually NICE! and informative. We went while they were under construction which is why we probably got such an exceptional price. They are reinventing themselves with a beautiful pool room, business center, exercise room. This is going to be the place to stay in telling you. When we return in a year or two, we will be staying here again. My only downer, I'd like an actual coffeemaker in the room (4-5 cup) vs the one that makes the coffee taste like a was of paper...but I can live. Thank you for making our stay great.

The property is under construction, but it didn’t bother us. The staff was very accommodating and they had a wonderful breakfast buffet with someone making fresh omelets to order. Would definitely stay there again.

We arrived to find out that they are renovating the hotel. This meant noxious carpet glue fumes, paint fumes, etc. I don't understand why they are still open in this condition. The only reason I gave them two stars instead of one is that they were really great about refunding the money right away so we could find another place to stay. They have probably dealt with refunding a ton because if you have any sensitivity to chemical smells, you can't possibly stay there.

Our room had a "fish" odor when we entered & did not dissipate when we opened the window, etc. I reported it to the management as the odor was very unpleasant. They didn't have another room to move us to, but they did say that they would reimburse the pet fee; but that has not happened.

Staff was very Friendly

The staff is very friendly and they are doing the best they can since the hotel is currently being renovated. The rooms are clean (I travel with a UV light) and bed was comfortable. BIG plus is the ladies who make omelettes for you in the morning. I can't wait to see the hotel after the renovations are done. Wild Mustang Restaurant great choice for lunch or dinner is not far from the hotel.
