Fabulous location in Lanesboro, the hub of the Root River bike trail. All the rooms are unique. Loved our bicycle suite. Good continental breakfast with local pastries and scones. They have a locked bike shed for easy and safe bike storage. The town itself has lots of restaurants and a small theatre for local live theatre. Fun place we will definitely go back.

This is a wonderful place for biking the root river trail. Nice room- fabulous breakfast. Kind and helpful staff. Locked shed for bikes- and electricity to charge ebike. Staff so very helpful. We will be back in the fall!!

Lovely Themed Hotel
The Stone Mill Inn is a cozy hotel located in the heart of downtown Lanesboro. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and include all of the amenities you would need for a weekend away. The rooms are themed, which is an added bonus! Breakfast is included in your stay and includes many options. We would highly recommend staying at the Stone Mill Inn & Suites during your next stay in Lanesboro!

Perfect in every way
Staff that feels like family, there to greet you, show you around, and make sure you are comfortable at every opportunity. Building is historic, so expect som e rustic charm. Room was fantastic. Just a few yards from the brewery, where you will find more kind and welcoming folks. We will return!

Lovely little place with interesting rooms. Certainly quirky and not handicap accessible but it is a very old building. Staff was lovely and reached out to see if I needed a late check in. Loved that they actually showed me the room and how everything worked (air conditioning/TV). Slept wonderfully and the muffins/scones from the bakery down the street are amazing. Had our coffee/scone sitting on the front porch watching it rain - perfect! Will defiantly stay here again when we are in Lanesboro, but will stay more than one night next time….
