Terrible service
Terrible service, we arrived to check in and they told us that the room was not ready, that they were cleaning it, they left us waiting for more than 45 minutes in the cold. These types of hotels should not be advertised on Hotels.com, they do not meet the minimum requirements for a minimally decent stay. I do not recommend it, better to look for another option.

The beds were not so comfortable, and the heater was over performing when we got in the room. Turned it waaay down and it helped, but still seemed extra warm in there. The noise every time it kicked in woke me up, but I am admittedly a light sleeper. Otherwise the room was clean, and breakfast was pretty good. Nice, clean space to eat, and upbeat Christmas music playing. We like staying here when at the Mayo. It’s close and convenient.

Checkout was noon as posted. We came back to our room at 11am to find a man in there doing some cosmetic caulking on the shower tile. He did not speak a word of English. He showed his phone which had an English message saying something about being an employee there. We even had our do not disturb plackard out. Tried to complain to the front desk… but they were swamped at that time and we couldn’t wait.

The breakfast was very good but the property really needs updating. There was even a start of mold on tile in bathroom. The convenience to the clinic was excellent but not really close to restaurants. They do have kitchenettes so you can bring your own food for simple cooking

The hotel is good. It’s got a paid parking lot option. We parked there, and walked to an appointment at Mayo. The hotel subway is connected to Mayo.

It was good. When we checked in the receptionist at the front desk didn’t give us anything to put on the car parked in the garage. We got note saying we would be charged more for parking there. Plus she gave us no directions on which elevator to use to get to our room. Another guest saw us lost and told us we were on the wrong side and to back down and take the other elevator. The next day we got the parking pass so that was managed.

Our Ram truck would not fit into the parking ramp. Would have been nice to know this before we booked. Our room was not ready, no parking on property for us. Asked if we could cancel, and was firmly told NO! Was attending Mayo clinic for treatment, didn't need this added stress!!!!!!!!

Very nice hotel. Only downside was the teenage basketball teams staying that were loud and obnoxious most of the night. Hotel didn’t seem to care.
