Nightmare fuel
The experience was so far out there that I just had to share. Where do I start... the receptionist lady, while quickly and efficiently checking me in (kudos!), talked down to me like it was my first time staying in a hotel ever. I get it, not every American travels much, but please check that condescending tone, lady. The room felt run down, every single item had signs of decay. Floors, walls, AC, even the fridge had a case of tremors. Apparently, someone puked in the bathtub about 10 years ago and they only tried to clean it yesterday, so some traces remained forever ingrained in the tub. The shower curtain had someone's buttcrack print on the inside, right in the middle. One of the towels was dirty, so it was used as a floor towel, just in case the dark floor was hiding more signs of feisty parties of the past. Among the many sounds that kept me up at night were people on the above and below floors having conversations and trying to make themselves comfortable on the tiny pillows supplied by a hotel, as well as weird squeaking sounds as if made by small animal. I hope it was someone's rubber ducky. Having so much quality of entertainment and adventure thrown at me I guess I can say the breakfast was passable. It didn't talk back, didn't bite, and tiny packets or orange juice were only 15% ice and the rest was liquid. No half-and-half for your coffee but plastic utensils were the most flexible (literally). Overall, I'd rather stay at Holiday Inn Express than come back.

Troutville stopover
It was a stop over for me on my way to Tennessee. The staff were very friendly and it was very clean. However the guests in the room above me woke me up several times during the night with banging doors and banging on the floor. I called the front desk and they were to say something to them. It stopped for a few minutes and then they started again.

Clean hotel.
The hotel is very convenient from the highway. Easy and fast check in and check out process. The hotel was extremely clean. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast options were good. No complaints with our stay. Will definitely stay here again.

Very welcoming with cookies and lemonaide on arrival. Coffee all the time and water bottles on depature. Clean and comfortable. Staff were wonderful. Breakfast was delicious with multiple offererings. Will definitely stay there again when passing through!

The facility was nice. The service was great, pool was clean and the room was very large and clean. The only issue I had was that the shower drained very slowly I was standing in a foot of water after my shower and the tub was EXTREMELY slippery. There was a mat, but it was rolled up on the toilet, not in the tub and no sign warning how slippery the tub was. I almost fell a couple of times and hit my leg and got a rather large bruise. Other than that it was good though.

We had a good stay in a pet friendly room. Unfortunately, there were a lot of markings on the bed skirt from previous pets which ours identified quickly. Fortunately, it didn’t smell in the room. A lot of trash in areas around the edges of the parking lot.

Very comfortable and peacefully quiet after a tense, hectic drive through Baltimore and Interstate 81, plus a breakdown in Woodstock. Only one complaint that should be taken seriously. The flatware at breakfast is frustratingly flimsy...the tines on the forks collapse and the knives bend, making them useless when cutting a sausage link. The sausage gravy definitely needs more attention. It was too thick and more stuck to the dipper than went on my biscuit. Plus, it should have been replenished early on. Beautiful crepe myrtles!

Parking is free and convi ient, breakfast is included but not worth it, rooms are big but outdated, beds uncomfortable, rust in the tub.. layout of the rooms are very steange too with a lot of empty unutilized spaces... it is right off the hway and close to buchanan but this comfort hotel was pretty uncomfortable

All in all it was 1 night stay with my dog. I have stayed here several times when traveling to and from NJ to GA. The room spelled like a dog never experienced that before. Breakfast was great

Was all we needed being exhausted from driving
It was just a quick stop overnight traveling back from Florida. Our room had a king bed, fridge, microwave and coffee maker and a big screen tv. We were on the first floor level with the lobby, fitness room and pool. The room smelled a bit musty. The bed was very comfortable, I took a nice hot shower and the ac was quiet. We slept very well and they had complimentary breakfast.
