Bath tab faucet was almost taken off. Shower-faucet switching valve is broken. Key card was not functioning next day and were not able to come back to the room. The room was not clean.

The rooms reek of smoke. Druggies hanging out smoking outside. Room is out of date and tried to get covered up with new paint. Toilet ran all night long I couldn’t take it anymore and finally checked out at 9pm.

The key card had to be wiggled to get the door to open. The front door insulation /door trim was falling off the door. The restroom door knob and shower head were both loose and felt like they were gonna fall off. The restroom walls, door trim and light switch all have mold on them. This was a non-smoking room, but the bed covers had cigarette burn marks. Late last night while I was in the bathroom, I saw a cockroach walking across the bathroom floor. We were on the first floor and there was a car parked most of the night right outside our room with two people, smoking something. I was in the area for a memorial service so I didn’t have the time or patience to deal with the room. I really don’t know how this place was given an 8/10. It was a complete disappointment.

Came to the hotel to check in around 2:45 and we we were told to come back in 30 mins as the room we booked wasn’t ready yet. 30 mins later we try checking in again, the line was super long which is fine so we waited again. Then, when we were seen by from desk staff, they tell us again that it was gonna take another 30 mins to get the room ready. It was very upsetting because we had an event to go to, and the rooms were booked beforehand. We ended up being late to our event. Nevertheless, we stood our ground and stayed near the desk until we have the room ready. And they finally, have a room available. It felt disorganized. The event has been known for a while, it should have been planned better.
