Decent for the price.

Price was good for the room. Housekeeping skipped several days which doesn’t bother me related to cleaning, but we had to go exchange our towels at the desk as they were not switch out. Not a big deal but I think it’s reasonable to expect them to at least refresh towels on a 5 night stay. Other than that price was much better than surrounding hotels and the room had microwave and real fridge/freezer and toaster. No dishes except a cutting board and corkscrew.

The room was modern, fresh and clean. It was very spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only issue we had was some very loud guests were placed in the room right above us.

Honestly this was my first time traveling by myself let alone getting a motel by myself, but Studio 6 Richmond was really a good experience. Very modern motel. i felt like i was in a hotel, the bathrooms were amazing, a whole kitchen space in your room, etc… I’d def come here again if I go back to Richmond in the future

This was a convenient stop on our way down to South Carolina. It was the cheapest, nicest option. It is almost brand new construction, it was very clean and modern.

I stayed in Room 408 and was extremely disappointed. The room had a terrible sewer smell from the moment I walked in. When I brought it up to the front desk, the staff admitted they were already aware of the issue due to a sewer leak — yet they still chose to rent out the room without any warning or proper fix. Their only solution was to offer me a spray, which temporarily masked the odor for about five minutes before the stench returned. It's clear that a recent renovation was done, but unfortunately, it was poorly executed. If you're looking for a comfortable and restful stay, I strongly recommend finding another place. This hotel knew about a serious problem and did nothing meaningful to address it. Very disappointing experience.
