Room was dated. Found a used fork on the floor. Fan on the heat/AV unit rattled loudly. Fan ran non stop, even in the off position. Bathroom has a barn door set up that has gaps wide enough that it does not take privacy or bathroom odors into consideration. Night lights on the bathroom switches are so bright you need to shut the barn door to sleep. Housekeeping was still working at 5PM and did not get to our room. Hotel staff very friendly. Breakfast was good

Terrible Breakfast Staff
Room was clean but the breakfast was horrible. Limited food selections and the breakfast staff were rude. The trash was overflowing, the orange juice dispencer needed cleaning and they were not replenishing the food 45 minutes before the close of breakfast. I have never been so disappointed with a Springhill Suites breakfast. Also, the location was too far from Downtown Richmond (20-25 minutes). I couldnt wait to leave. It was just not a good vibe for the money. The breakfast people really turned me off and made it uncomfortable. But wait the first day I even tipped the breakfast staff only for him to be rude to me the next day. I always tip the staff but not when they are rude.
