Have stayed here twice before. Must have put us in one of the few updated rooms. This time had to ask for a better room, which was still aweful. Mold, bugs, just ick. If it wasn’t midnight and we weren’t so exhausted from driving all day would have left. At least the bed was clean. Just demolish this place and start over.

The mildew smell was so overwhelming in room 108. The pillow had yellow stains in the pillow case and the curtains was badly wrinkled. The foor around the toilet has visible urine stains and the ceiling looked to have mold on it. The inside door was badly scratched and the ceiling also displayed horrible repair. The spackle work was terrible. The heater kicked out the mildew smell as well.
Power was out and lobby was filthy. .i am a army veteran in a wheel chairs on oxygen, retired from the dc fire dept and u have a lot of problems here i didn't even check into hotel very dissatisfied. Greg byrd this hotel should have a real cleaning
It was terrible. It was very filthy. The lampshades have mold on them. The the fire smoke detector there was none. The clothes rack was ripped halfway out of the wall with the screws hanging out of it. The linens were stained cigarette Burns. It was disgusting. The staff was professional one polite

Clean and comfortable with 2 subpar amenities
Overall, this hotel was clean and comfortable, especially for the price. The individual rooms were updated more than the rest of the hotel. Two areas to note, especially for travelers needing internet while stay here. 1. The internet is almost nonexistent. The mobile data is very spotty and the hotel internet will connect but usually stated that it didn't have an internet connection. 2) The breakfast was subpar, even for this price. The coffee was a Ninja coffee pot that the guests ended up brewing themselves because there were no attendants. What I would have really like was a glass of ice water but they didn't have any. And if you want to get a bucket of ice, you have to go to the front desk and they fill it for you, but it seemed like it was bagged ice from the grocery store.
I will say that I would stay here again, I just have to adjust my expectations.

Needs paint, lightbulbs, and a decent breakfast (no butter, open cream cheese package).
Never stay again.
When I arrived the owner's wife didn't seem like she had our reservation and when I said Expedia she found it and then proceeded to complain about Expedia. I thought she wasn't going to give us the room but she finally did. She gave us a handicap room bc she saw my cane even though I said I didn't need one. The bathroom shower had a seat in it and was bolted to the wall and the bottom was rusty. The floor had a hole near the frame and insects crawled out. Management was informed about this. Breakfast was another negative. We walked in and it looked ok but when I tried to use the waffle maker I was told it wasn't working. Bread items were very limited and the toppings like peanut butter and jams were single containers that anybody could open and use which isn't sanitary. Then there was someone following me around getting what I needed. When I selected cereal he went in the backroom and got the milk. Shortly afterward he took the cereal away and when new people walked in and asked for cereal he had to go back, get it and start the procedure again. We will put this place on the do not go again list!
Was very dirty. My 1 year olds feet were black just from walking around our room. The toilet had black stuff all over the lid. The room had a bad smell as soon as you walked in. Not sure if they were renovating or what but the whole hotel was very dirty and missing trims, paint, ect.
The breakfast did not look like the picture online at all.
The butter was sticks of butter in the fridge, there was no juice or water available. The sugar was a big jar of sugar, the peanut butter and jelly were large jars on the counter. In the fridge was ready to eat items from sheetz? Not sure if they were an employees or what. The only food options were muffins, bread, cereal, waffles, apples, and coffee. No protein options at all. Im not sure how any of this is okay with a health inspector.
First room given to ky famoly had roaches crawling in the bathroom and a dirty tub that looked like someone didnt rinse it after they washed. The excuse i was given is that Virgina water is dirty. The second room i was given has a toilet that was disgusting and the ceiling was falling down in one of the rooms. I tried to show the pica and video to rhe couple who was behind the front desk and the man told me to contact Expedia for a refund he didnt need to see the photos.
