This place is filthy. I took plenty of pics. The chairs in the eating area and lobby are covered in syrup and food particles and look to never be cleaned. The hotel room had dust all over the lights, sticky residue all over the complimentary in room tea bags, coffee pot, cups, tables. The bathroom looked like an unlicensed do it yourself contractor came in and tried to patch holes and caulk floors and walls with chalky residue all over. Small bugs in bathroom. There are a lot of hotels in the are to choose from and this one is not it.

The construction in the lobby was chaos on my arrival. I went back to my car and called the hotel to ask if I was at the correct location. The receptionist was very nice and my room was spacious and comfortable

Stay was 3/5 overall. Only 1 ice machine and it was located on top floor. Only one working elevator so waiting times were a bit longer than normal. Last morning the fire alarm went off...and on....and off...and on...for over an hour which was annoying. On the good side, breakfast was good and the staff was VERY friendly and greeted you on your way in and out each time! Renovations were not completed and needs some work but overall not a bad stay.

Room for improvement
The construction seemed to be an excuse for not getting things done in a timely manor. The breakfast was dry and seemed to be left out for long periods of time. The craftsmanship in the bathroom in particular was poor; toilet paper holder falling off wall, corners missing caulk and paint, etc. The desk chair was dirty and there were keys left in the room from a previous guest.

Ways to improve
I think the overall stay was average compared to the other Hyatts I have been to. Room size, bed and TV was decent. Breakfast was a plus. I liked their options. Checking in and out was easy. Did not like that i had to pay to watch movies or listen to music. In the elevator there was a soiled padding with big black spots on it.(looked like oil or mold stains). Receptionist were not in any type of uniform 🤔 they looked like guesses. At the entrance the couch was way too close to the door as you walked in. The hyatt sign on diamond/cox road need to lit up or made bigger (can not see at night).

The hotel is under renovation and only 1 elevator was working for 6 floors. Also I had no toilet paper in my room when we arrived. There wasn’t even a toilet paper holder. Plus the pull out sofa had no sheets nor blanket. But the staff was very helpful & polite!
