Staff was nice and the room was clean and comfortable. The only issue I experienced was using the card key to enter through the side door. After numerous attempts, I had to walk around to the front entrance to get back into the building.

When I walked in the door to check in, the smell of marijuana was awful. Got checked in and was told that we could use the side entrance as it was closer to our room. This door had a fire alarm attached to it that went off every time the door was opened. And apparently there were several guests who told to use this door as well. The alarm went off all night long. Every 15-20 mins the alarm was going off. Their choices for the grab and go breakfast were very limited. Would not recommend, especially for the price. For this price I would have expected a better experience

Dont waste your time

Hotel lobby reeks of marijuana and hallways although they have no smoking signs all over the place. Room need more cleanliness hair in shower, paper plates left on lamp shades, hair on counters.

We chose this hotel (Extended Stay, Midlothian, VA) because of the reasonable cost (approx. $60-$80/per day), the location was close to where we had pulled-over to rest after several hours of driving and where we made the decision to get a room instead of drive two more hours home), and the online pics made the rooms appear worth the cost of the stay). I can't honestly say I was surprised but I was definitely disappointed. The clerk quickly checked us into a ground-level unit...the moment I opened the door, the door of strong bug repellent caused my eyes to "water", my throat instantly became irritated...the luscious bed, as viewed on this website, was nothing more than a cheap and well-worn piece of crap, probably found at the dump.bMyother, the room's second occupant, had just been released from the hospital after having a long and painful surgical procedure..for us, .a comfortable bed is a top-required and much needed amenity. I can almost guarantee that we would have acquired a couple new "friends" once we got home: bed bugs and/or roaches. We immediately went to the front desk attendant, surrendered our keys, and demanded a full refund. If I am not refunded the money paid for this falsely advertised dump, I will quickly close my Experian account.
