We drove 13 hours to the hotel only to be told we don’t have a room and we paid for the room. Very upsetting that we couldn’t be placed in a sister hotel it was just like oh well next in line.

There was no air conditioning in the entire hotel. We were told Expedia could call and they would authorize a refund. I have been trying for 3 days to get a refund from Expedia. We had to check in to another hotel. Beware of Expedia and Embassy Suites

The staff here was lovely. I have no qualms there. However. When we arrived to check in, we were informed that our pre-booked room was not actually available. This meant that my partner and 10 year old foster child had to spend the next hour looking for a solution with staff that would meet our legal needs (we have to have a door between her room and ours). When we accessed a new room (at 10:30 PM), there was only one blanket, so my partner had to sleep with only a sheet. This turned out fine because the A/C was off in the whole hotel, despite highs of 78 degrees. The hotel was hot and muggy. 1/4 of the elevators was actually working (and seemed to be on its last legs). Breakfast was cold and undercooked. AND there was a ginormous cockroach in my room (2 inches long WITH WINGS) that flew at my face. I was charged a no show fee of $305 for the room that was never available for us (the front desk staff remedied this quickly!) on top of our actual stay rate and the $100 incidentals fee. We will be finding another hotel! This one did not feel sanitary or comfortable at all.

It was extremely hot in my room. I was told the heat as turned on and given a box fan. The fan helped a little, however it was still very uncomfortable. The elevators were not working properly. There was a lot of noise outside my room until late in the next get with young kids running through the hall. I had to cut my visit short due to the incredible heat.

I loved the restaurant in the hotel food was really good. I like that there was a seating area separate from the bedroom there actually a door which can be locked. It was clean. The staff was friendly and courteous. I would definitely stay again.

Terrible Stay
Staff was friendly enough but everything else was absolutely terrible. Rooms were dirty and falling apart, bathroom was not stocked- had no toilet paper or shampoo/conditioner. Despite the room being empty all afternoon, our rooms were never cleaned or restocked. Hot and Cold water on the shower was backwards and easy to scale yourself. Had my children tried adjusting the temp without prior warning from me, they could have seriously injured themselves. Air conditioner did not work in the entire building, our room was over 80 degrees the entire stay. Three of four elevators did not work so getting from the top floor to ground floor took forever. It really just seems that this place is slowly falling apart and in serious need of repair and better management.

First the hotel turn the a/c off for the winter all my years of traveling never heard of this rooms where hot had to keep the sliding doors open then you ended up with bugs in the room. Then there was only one elevator working and I was on a floor that was even worse

The overall experience was very nice! The lobby, bar and lounge area is absolutely beautiful! The rooms are very spacious! The rooms come with a balcony. However, if you’re expecting to actually sit, it’s large enough for one person to get fresh air, enjoy the view. There is a $10.00 parking free and I believe a $90 incidental fee. The only complaints I had about this property is that the A/C for the ENTIRE building was out and we were disappointed that we weren’t told this beforehand. While arriving the room was set to 76, (We adjusted the A/c to 65, left and came back believing the temperature in the room would be cooler, we called down to the lobby to see if we could get assistance and that’s when they notified us and told us to crack the balcony door) Lastly, If you prefer to use the elevator there are two sides where you can accesses the elevator, However, the elevators on left side of the building were out of order and the elevators that were functional had a lot of traffic and ran very slowly. It got very congested in that area and the average wait time for the elevator was about 1-3 minutes. (This was typically around the evening)
