Old doesn’t have to be dirty or shabby.

Peeling wallpaper and marks on walls. Stains on shower curtain. Toilet loose. Toilet paper roll almost empty, no extra roll. Towels thin and small. Pillows tiny. Ice bucket and cups on floor under TV. Couch stained. Hallways, elevator REEKED of marijuana. Kids running around without adults, doors slamming.

We planned a quick over night stay on our trip down to Florida. Upon arrival the clientele appeared a little sketchy with lots of partiers… We had planned for our kids to swim the following morning to burn some energy. Unfortunately the pool was under maintenance and the room was disgusting. We had to share the king size bed because the pull out couch was covered in grime, The headboard of the bed was covered in grime and hand prints. Stains on the floor and eye lash extensions in the shower. The bathroom was in need of some repairs with broken cabinetry and a scribbled out Roku sticker. There were only a couple of towels in the room and no extra linens even if we wanted to use the pull out bed. We were so grossed out that we rushed to leave the following morning and didn’t want our kids to touch anything or put anything down on a soft surface… We won’t be returning to a comfort inn anytime soon

Don’t judge a book by the cover.

The room was clean except for the bedbug that decided to join me. I woke up with, what I thought was hives, and now I see the bite line. 3 in a row. Now everything I have with me has to be cleaned before I talent home and my car cleaned out and sprayed. No ironing board, but there was an iron!

Great bed, bad vibes

We stayed here last year and loved it, but this hotel has gone downhill over the last year. While my room was overall clean and the bed was comfortable, the staff were much less friendly this time around. Additionally, while sitting in the lobby, we witnessed an unconscious woman in the hallway be carried away and staff refused to provide any help to emergency services to figure out where she went to ensure her safety after her (hopefully) friends carried her away. Also while sitting in the lobby, water started streaming from the ceiling onto the tables. Paint is peeling all over, there are strange smells mixed in throughout, I asked for a blanket for the sofa bed and was told they ran out, smoke detectors were removed, and my shower became a bath when the stopper continuously fell down. Breakfast was passable although the only sweet employee that I encountered had to help me with the waffle maker since that's also broken. The price was great, but I paid a similar price last year for a much better experience.

This property is extremely unclean and has multiple damages to the property. The room smells very old and rank. The bathroom has stains on the ceiling with peeling wallpaper. The doors do not closed without force. The wifi is very weak and spotty.

Terrible stay at Comfort Suites Innsbrook

Stay was terrible. Stayed from Friday-Sunday as everything in the area was booked and we had a sports tournament. The lady at check-in didn’t even look at us, just asked for my ID, then told me where the elevator was. Didn’t even tell me what room we were in. Hallway reeked of cat/dog urine. Apparently they allow pets. The carpet was dirty and had trash on it all weekend. Never vacuumed. Our air conditioner in our room did not work so our room was about 80° all weekend. I had to go to Walmart and buy a fan for $67.00 just to try to somewhat fall asleep. There was still female (all boys in our room). There was hair in my shower on the curtain. There was trash beside the sofa. We could never get clean towels or wash cloths. Finally, the woman offered to wash our stuff and return it. As if the hotel only owned X amount of towels per room. Take it a step further, the breakfast area was disgusting and the tables were off balance and covered in stickiness and garbage. And finally to top it off, woke up to use the bathroom and there were cockroaches on the walls of my bathroom.

The location is pretty good. But I feel the hotel equipments really need better maintanance. A lot of stuff was out of order. The window curtain was out of hook in the first room assigned to me; then the staff changed a room for me. The window curtain was still not in good shape but a little bit better than the first room. The door knob was loose; the basin blocker was missing; a bulb was out of order; the shower stream was too small. I feel it was not very comfortable. But the location is really good. There are very good restaurants in walking distance. If they repair all those non-working stuff, it would be a good place for vacation.

Bathroom was dirty and toilet didn’t work. It rained hard and water was coming in around the AC in our room and the one in the hall outside our room. Called for towels to stop water and they said they didn’t have any clean. Pool area was dirty with trash and they didn’t clean for 3 of the 5 days I was there.

Big Disappointment

We always stay at Comfort Suites & are always very pleased, but this stay was different. The staff, especially Margarita at the desk, were professional & helpful, but the rooms are another story. The 1st room was missing the long cushion on the couch & the safety latch on the door had been ripped off & was hanging by a screw. Additionally, the hallway had a smell like someone had been smoking marijuana. We went back to the desk, Margarita apologized & assigned us another room. The other room was clean, but the furniture was dated & in need of an upgrade, especially the couch. Also, the faucet in the bathtub continually had a small stream of water flowing from it that could not be turned off. The tub also had permanent rust stains. Although hot water came from the sink, the tub, at best, had only very lukewarm water. Additionally, the smoke detector had been ripped from the wall & only wires were hanging where it should have been. One feature of Comfort Suites that we enjoy is the lemon water available in the lobby. The lemon water here had the strong taste of lemon rinds making it undrinkable. It seemed like they just kept adding water to old lemons & didn't refresh them. The breakfast buffet had most of the regular items one would expect, but the only bread product was sliced white bread, no bagels of muffins like the other Comfort Suites. In conclusion, I will stay at other Comfort Suites since I have been pleased with the others, but I would never stay at this one again.
