The property is old and a bit on the shabby side. Our room was clean except for foul.fiid wrappers under the bed, presumably from a previous guest. There are two adjacent properties with similar rates. They are both much nicer.

Title: Uncomfortable and Unsafe Stay at Comfort Inn Petersburg I recently stayed at the Comfort Inn in Petersburg, VA, and was extremely disappointed. The bed was an absurd three feet off the ground, making it nearly impossible for anyone with hip or knee issues, as well as elderly guests or children, to safely get in or out. I ended up sleeping on the floor, which was uncomfortable and unsafe. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for anyone who values comfort and safety.

The staff were truly amazing and super nice! They were great to talk to and joke around with, loved the kids talking to them, and they even came across the parking lot to tell the kids there were fresh cookies in the lobby! We will definitely be staying there again!! Thank you Comfort Inn!!

A good sleep
Staff was friendly and made sure we had what we needed. The hallways were humid and had dehumidifiers running, but the room was fine. Bed was comfortable and it was quiet. We got a great nights sleep in the middle of our roadtrip. Continental selection was good, and the attendant kept everything well stocked and tidy. The dining room itself could use a facelift. The hotel shows its age in some ways. But overall a good stay, we would come again.
