Great stay at Swiss Chalet

Staff/owners were very welcoming. Loved our room - very spacious and clean. Updated bathroom with good water pressure. Loved the free hot chocolate/coffee everyday til 9:00 pm. Location was convenient to downtown.

Proximity of the railway

Very good. I didn’t give it 5 stars because of the proximity of the railway. I could feel the vibrations when a train was passing by. It wasn’t a big deal for two nights but would be for more.

With the hotel being so close to the road and railway…if you are a light sleeper or tend to wake up, it may not be the best place

We like Swiss Chalet and have stayed here often over the past 15 years. But, the prices have jumped significantly, especially when looking at Expedia pricing, and the free breakfast offered has gone downhill a lot - milk only available for coffee drinkers, and no cereal!!!!! Really!
